Meet the Founders of Health House: Lori Valenti Webb & Emily Albers

Two Paths, One Mission: Redefining Wellness in Wake Forest

Behind every great movement, there are passionate individuals who dare to challenge the status quo. At Health House, those individuals are Lori Valenti Webb and Emily Albers—two powerhouse women with unique backgrounds, distinct strengths, and a shared vision: to create a space where wellness is personal, holistic, and accessible.

Lori Valenti Webb: A Visionary with a Passion for Movement

Lori has always been active, but when illness disrupted her life, she had to fight to reclaim her health. After contracting COVID, she was diagnosed with a mirage of chronic conditions, including myalgic encephalomyelitis, POTS, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, primary immune deficiency, and small fiber neuropathy. Once an unstoppable force, she suddenly found herself navigating a world where even the simplest activities felt like monumental challenges.

But Lori isn’t the type to accept limitations without a fight. Through a combination of Western medicine and holistic wellness, she slowly regained her strength. Today, she is at about 70% of her former self—enough to return to one of her greatest loves: movement. At Health House, Lori will be teaching Pilates, helping others build strength and resilience the same way she has.

Lori isn’t just a wellness advocate—she’s also a successful entrepreneur. She owns Property Specific, a thriving luxury real estate brokerage in Wake Forest, where she helps clients find their dream homes. Fun fact: her business partner in Property Specific is also named Emily! In addition to real estate, she co-founded Salt Hair, a popular hair salon in Wake Forest.

When she’s not building businesses or teaching Pilates, you’ll find Lori spending time with her two pups, enjoying long walks through her neighborhood, embracing the quiet moments that help her recharge.

Emily Albers: A Healthcare Veteran Turned Holistic Advocate

For over 25 years, Emily dedicated her career to healthcare, working on both the clinical and administrative sides of the industry. She’s seen firsthand the dedication of doctors and nurses who work tirelessly to heal people. But she also recognized something was missing—a more comprehensive approach to wellness that went beyond treating symptoms.

After stepping away from traditional healthcare, Emily’s eyes were opened to the world of holistic wellness. She realized just how powerful alternative healing modalities could be when used alongside conventional medicine. That realization led her to co-found Health House, where she’s committed to offering people a variety of wellness options that allow them to take control of their own health journey.

Emily hosts a podcast, “What the Healthcare,” where she initially interviewed Lori about her complications post-COVID. This is where their partnership began. If you’re curious about that first conversation, you should give the episode a listen!

Emily is also a business owner outside of Health House. She runs ERA Structures, a general contracting company in Youngsville, NC, proving that she’s just as comfortable leading a construction project as she is spearheading a wellness revolution.

A Perfect Balance: The Yin and Yang of Health House

Lori and Emily bring two different but complementary strengths to Health House. Lori is the visionary, constantly dreaming up new ways to expand and improve. Emily is the operational powerhouse, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Together, they’ve created a space that is as ambitious as it is practical, offering a truly comprehensive approach to wellness.

If there’s one thing they would change about the wellness industry, it’s the “one size fits all” mentality. They firmly believe that wellness should be personalized, which is why Health House brings together so many different modalities under one roof. Whether you need acupuncture, movement therapy, contrast therapy, or energy healing, Health House is designed to empower you to choose what works best for your body and your circumstances.
